加强土壤环境监测正当其时

国务院日前印发《土壤污染防治行动计划》，明确提出开展土壤污染调查，掌握土壤环境质量状况。环境监测是环保工作的耳目和基石。监测数据既是科学评价环境质量、摸清底数、实现土壤环境分级分区管理、保障环境安全与公众健康的基础，也是考核政府土壤污染防治工作成效的重要依据。因此，科学实施“土十条”依赖于全面、准确的土壤环境监测。

新技术可使植物利用过程更环保

新华网消息 人们利用木材等生物质资源时，需要分解和去除其中的木质素，为此需要使用大量能源和化学药品。日本东京农工大学日前宣布，该校研究人员及其同行开发出了使木质素更加容易分解的新技术，有望大幅减少利用植物制作生物燃料和生物塑料时向大气排放的二氧化碳。
